I always associate Memorial Day with the start of summer. It's that wonderful, kicked back season filled with barbecue smells, lawn mower sounds, and the joyful sight of kids splashing around in the pool. We're pretty lucky to enjoy the freedoms we do here in the U.S., and Memorial Day is a great time to reflect on that.

I just love that image. Can't you feel the cool water swirling around your ankles as you look at it? Summer's little luxuries. On a related tangent, here's another beautiful selection from the sale -- a work of art celebrating the poppy, which just happens to be a strong symbol of Memorial Day.
While I'm on a summery theme, I think I'll close with this classic surfing picture from our Memorial Day Sale. I tried surfing some years ago, but I wasn't very coordinated, and to tell the truth, I was terrified of sharks! But this image still appeals to me. Can't you just hear the Beach Boys in the background?
