Suggestions on Hiding the Electrical Cords

The optimal way to camouflage the electrical cords on your picture lights is to hire a licensed electrician to hardwire the lights with a recessed outlet behind the artwork. Outlets may be added near pictures and the cords concealed with PVC cord cover, which can be painted or stained to match the walls or woodwork in the room. You may also use cord covers to run the light cord to the nearest outlet, provided the cord will reach. Self-adhesive backing makes cord covers easy to install without an electrician's help, and are available at your local home improvement and hardware stores. In addition, we suggest placing furniture or home furnishings in front of cords to help "hide" them. All corded lights are supplied with a UL/CUL listed 12 volt power supply. Please make sure to follow all standard electrical and safety guidelines. If unsure, consult a licensed electrician.
