Image Details: A ten mile circular map of Philadelphia and the country around it. The publisher, R.P. Smith considered this to be "the most successful of our maps" and it is indeed a beautiful map and a fine example of early lithography printed by P.S. Duval. There is a view of Girard College and another of Laurel Hill Cemetery in the lower corners of the map engraved by A. Kollner, one of Philadelphia earliest lithographic artists.
